A Warm Emmanuel Welcome!
Emmanuel Old Age Home is situated in Oatlands, Krugersdorp West and we strive to make this a HOME and not just another Old Age Home.
Our vision for Emmanuel is: "The provision of world-class service to the frail aged" and our mission is: "Creating an enabling environment for active ageing through the provision of social welfare services and holistic spiritual care". We endeavour to look after their rights, well-being, spiritual needs, safety and security. It is our aim to empower aged residents and keep them active via the various active aging programmes for as long as possible.
We have a frail care unit that is staffed 24/7 and other units for the more mobile and semi-frail elderly that can still look after themselves to an extent.
We strive to provide well-balanced meals and we also cater for certain medical conditions, such as diabetes, etc.
Use it or lose it is a phrase that has meaning here at Emmanuel, because our elderly have daily activities to keep them busy, such as sing-song, regional choir,
Jukskei, outside sports, board games, Bible study, indoor games, library, diamond dot and now DSTV.
Rural Community Outreach Project
The Emmanuel Outreach Project in the greater Magaliesburg and Hekpoort areas have been running since 2005. We provide home-based care services and luncheon clubs for the lesser privileged in the rural areas.
Our Facilities
We have various facilities available to cater for everyone. Our laundry takes care of your washing weekly. You can come to the dining room daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Our Staff
We have two sets of staff here at Emmanuel - salaried staff that comes in everyday and volunteers who stay in Emmanuel and work for the Lord.
Our staff comprise of 26 volunteers and 80 employees working for Emmanuel. We have a team 10 employees working for our outreach project to provide value added care to the vulnerable aged groups in the community.
